The Master of Arts in Teaching in K-12 Special Subjects with a specialty in Spanish leads to an initial 'A' level teaching license. Candidates complete core coursework, specialty area requirements in teaching techniques, technology, curriculum development, content-area literacy, and exceptional children, and a nine-hour advanced clinical experience, and must pass the required Spanish PRAXIS II examination.
