Child Care Professional

This certificate will provide individuals interested in working in childcare programs or with children ranging in age from birth to eight years with a strong foundation of knowledge. Emphasis will be placed on: program development for children birth to eight years; positive guidance techniques; health, safety and nutrition; and effective communication with parents, children, and the community.
