Fordham's English Ph.D. program provides individualized, personal mentorship from widely published and recognized faculty. Ph.D. students take a distinctive, two-semester teaching practicum, which prepares them to become effective instructors, and the department runs workshops on dissertation writing, publishing, and other topics related to professionalization.
