History

The M.A. in history can be completed with one year of full-time study; at least six of the required courses must be taken within the history department, and students must maintain a 'B' (3.0) average to qualify for their degree. M.A. students are also required to complete a research paper through the pro-seminar/seminar sequence and demonstrate reading proficiency in one foreign language.
