The Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing is a 60-credit hour curriculum designed to prepare a student to become a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. Upon program completion, the Associate Degree Nursing graduate is eligible to take the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. Students can earn up to seven credit hours for their Paramedic course work.
