Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Postgraduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate program prepares nurses to perform in the expanded APN role working across the lifespan with pediatric to geriatric patients providing mental health care and substance abuse treatment. The curriculum builds on the core master's courses (10 s.h.) with the addition of essential PMHNP specialty track courses (28 s.h.), planned following NONPF guidelines to meet the requirements for national certification.
