Adult Education for English Learners

This is one of seven unique 12-credit-hour Graduate Certificates designed to allow for specialization within the broader field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The required coursework covers language teaching methodology, the nature of language, the structure of English, second language acquisition, intercultural communication, and, in some cases, a practicum experience.
