Pedagogy of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

This is one of seven unique 12-credit-hour Graduate Certificates designed to allow for specialization within the broader field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The required coursework covers language and culture, language teaching methodology, second language acquisition, and a practicum experience. The 12 graduate credit hours required for the certificate may be applied toward the M.A. in TESOL at Greensboro College; the certificate is not equivalent to the M.A. or M.A.T.
