Medical Laboratory Science

A student who wishes to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) follows a four-year program or a five-year program. The first three years are taken on the university campus, and the final year takes place in a 12-month program at a hospital-based NAACLS approved affiliate School of Medical Laboratory Science. Students are prepared to take the MLS (ASCP) examination offered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists for professional certification.
