Public Theology and Community Engagement

The 54-credit hour Doctor of Philosophy degree program has four programmatic goals and five student learning outcomes. Under a faculty committee's guidance, program assessment comes from the comprehensive examination, committee examination of the dissertation proposal, and presentation and defense of the dissertation. The program emphasizes advanced theological integration, original research and writing, leadership capacity, and program design and evaluation.
