CNC Machine Set-Up Specialist

The CNC Machine Set-Up Specialist Certificate award provides students with skills to perform as an entry level CNC Lathe or Mill Set- up person. Students will achieve competencies to check and replace tooling, align locate and position machine parts on the CNC equipment, read machine prints that use Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, as well as understand a more in-depth G & M code program. Students completing this award possess a higher level of manual machining capabilities.
