Medical Assistant

Medical Assistants assist physicians in the documentation of patient care and may include transcribing reports, coding of diagnosis and procedures, completing insurance forms, checking vital signs, performing phlebotomy and EKGs, administering injections, and applying bandages. The program provides instruction for the development of basic manipulative and communicative skills.
