Dance

The dance curriculum emphasizes the interconnectedness of dance as physical practice, creative process, and as an expression of cultural, social, and political positionality. The major is offered in four tracks - Performance and Choreography, Dance Education, Movement Studies, and Theory and Performance Studies - each emphasizing a particular expertise while sharing a broad-based perspective on dance as a field.
