Political Science

The major in Political Science emphasizes analytical and writing skills together with developing knowledge of the U.S. government, global political systems, and the means of inquiry in the social sciences. The major prepares students for graduate work and for a broad range of careers including administrative positions in government, community organizations, electoral politics, or organizations working on behalf of specific policies.
