The associate degree nursing (ADN) program qualifies graduates to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) leading to state licensure as a registered nurse (RN). Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) who meet advanced standing requirements (see nursing student handbook or program advisor) may enter the third semester of the nursing program after completing the support courses from the first two semesters of the program and qualifying for admission to the associate degree program.
