Mechanical Engineering

The Ph.D. program requires innovative research in collaboration with faculty along with 72 credit hours beyond the bachelor's degree, or 48 beyond a master's degree obtained elsewhere. Candidacy involves core coursework, a General Examination, a dissertation proposal, and a dissertation defense.
