Physics Major

The physics major trains students generally in physics; graduates often continue to graduate programs in physics, medical physics, applied math, or mechanical engineering, to teaching, to the data science industry, or to medical school. The major requires 42-43 credits from within the department plus an additional 17 credits from outside the department.
