Adolescence Education (Grades 7-12) (Pedagogy Only)

This program prepares teacher candidates to teach academic disciplines in middle and high school settings. Typically, students pursuing the degree have previously earned an undergraduate degree in the discipline (e.g., English, Biology, Mathematics, Social Science, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science) or have completed 30 credits in one of these disciplines. Graduates are awarded initial teaching certification in Adolescence Education (Grades 7-12) in their academic discipline area.
