Clinical Mental Health Counseling

The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is a "licensure qualifying" program with the New York State Education Department, Office of the Professions, which prepares students for a career as a mental health counselor. The program integrates mental health counseling theories and approaches with carefully supervised practical experiences in appropriate field settings. Each degree candidate completes 100 hours of counseling practicum and 600 hours of internship experience.
