History

History is a core program in the Social & Behavioral Sci- ences department. The program fosters a strong foundation in the substantive content and skill set of the discipline and enables students to examine critically the values and institutions of their own culture by exposing them to earlier forms of that culture as well as to alternative values and institutions of other cultures.
