Air Conditioning/Refrigeration

The AC/Refrigeration certificate prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, install, service and maintain the operating condition of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Diagnostic techniques and the use of testing equipment are covered; the principles of mechanics, electricity, and electronics as they relate to the repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems are addressed. The certificate takes two years to complete.
