At-Risk and Alternative Education

Marian University's graduate Education Department awards a certificate in Alternative Education to students completing the At-Risk and Alternative Education graduate curriculum, which prepares educators, youth workers, counselors, juvenile services, and detention center personnel to work effectively with students at risk of not succeeding in the classroom. All graduates, including those with transferred credits, receive a certificate in Alternative Education as well as a diploma.
