Early Childhood-Elementary Education

The major in early childhood-elementary education prepares students to teach children from birth through Grade 3. Students in the early childhood through middle childhood licensure program develop an awareness of the unique developmental characteristics of the young child and the ability to guide learning through developmentally appropriate curriculum and teaching methodology. An academic minor is not required.
