Thanatology

The Thanatology certificate focuses on the scientific study of death and dying, as well as the practices associated with it, including the psychological and social aspects of grief, bereavement, and mortality. The program is interdisciplinary, involving psychology, sociology, theology, and philosophy, and is especially relevant in professions such as hospice care, counseling, and palliative medicine. Certificate Programs do not qualify for Federal Financial Aid.
