Biochemistry

Biochemistry is the study of chemical processes in living organisms. According to the American Chemical Society (ACS) it includes the sciences of molecular biology, immunochemistry, and neurochemistry, as well as bioinorganic, bioorganic, and biophysical chemistry. Biochemistry is an interdisciplinary science field, utilizing elements from and impacting fields such as chemistry, zoology, botany, microbiology, pharmacology, genetics, medicine, and agriculture.
