Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies

The LAIS Educational Foundations major is specifically designed as an alternative pathway for students who are no longer eligible to continue in the licensure tracks of the Elementary Education or Special Education majors. This non-licensure option enables students to apply relevant coursework toward degree completion while redirecting their academic goals outside the framework of state teacher certification.
