Teaching

The Master of Arts in Teaching degree program is designed for the individual who has a baccalaureate degree in a discipline other than education and is seeking an initial teaching license. The program consists of professional studies courses and courses in a concentration, and leads to a North Carolina M-level license. During the last semester of study, students complete a semester-long practicum/internship in the public schools.
