Mathematics Education (non-licensure)

The Certificate in Mathematics Education (non-licensure) introduces the skills and experiences for students who are interested in teaching mathematics in either collegiate or alternative K-12 settings, but not pursuing state licensure. The certificate consists of two mathematics courses focused on content, two education courses focused on pedagogy, and a 30-hour experiential teaching component. This certificate is not open to students enrolled in the Integrated Mathematics major.
