Mathematics (Master of Science)

The Master of Science in Mathematics requires core courses in real analysis, abstract algebra, and functions of a real variable, plus electives selected in consultation with the graduate advisor. Up to six of the 32 hours may come from outside mathematics with approval of the graduate committee, and a final master's project is required.
