Microbiology

The Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology requires a minimum of 60 semester hours in graduate credits beyond the M.S. degree or its equivalent. Students must pass written and oral comprehensive examinations, defend a dissertation proposal, and complete a research project presented as a written thesis and public seminar.
