The Mathematics Education major prepares students to teach mathematics in intermediate, middle and high schools (grades 4-12). Students complete mathematics content coursework along with the professional education sequence, student teaching, and a student teaching portfolio. Upon successful completion of the program the student would be eligible for the teaching license for grades 4-12.
