Secondary Education Pathway in Chemistry

The Secondary Education Pathway in Chemistry Program at Mount Wachusett Community College provides students with the opportunity to earn an Associate of Science Degree in Chemistry that allows them to transfer to a four-year program in Secondary Education in Chemistry. Upon completion of this program, students are prepared for transfer to a four-year program; a bachelor’s degree is required for licensure as a secondary education teacher in Massachusetts.
