Substance Use Disorder Counseling

The program is designed for individuals interested in working with addiction issues. Through mostly online, minimal classroom/laboratory, and field experience, you will develop skills in counseling, diagnosis of addiction issues, treatment planning, group facilitation, and crisis management. Students will also learn how to respect client's rights, understand the complexity of addiction illnesses, and adhere to ethical guidelines.
