The Teaching Assistant Certificate is designed to provide for immediate employment but also allows for coursework in the certificate program to be applied directly to our A.A. Liberal Arts & Sciences: Early Childhood/Childhood Education. This program meets the educational requirements to take the NYS certification test, Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS) exam, but the certification is not included in the certificate program.
