Education - Elementary

Teacher education students take three types of courses at Northeast Community College. General courses are required of all associate of arts degree candidates and promote general knowledge. Subject courses help students learn the subjects they will be teaching. For an understanding of the teaching profession, students take professional education courses that instruct students how to teach.
