The Gas Tungsten Arc Welder (GTAW) Technical Certificate of Credit provides instruction in GTAW techniques. Topics include understanding the nature and culture of the welding industry, oxyfuel cutting techniques, and GTAW setup and operation and GTAW manipulation techniques. Students are accepted into the Gas Tungsten Arc Welder certificate program every semester. A full-time student can complete this program in 1 semester. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 15 semester credit hours.
