Applied Cybersecurity

Prepares students for employment and/or specialized training in the Information Technology (IT) industry, focusing on broad, transferable skills and emphasizing understanding and hands-on demonstration of security and networking technologies. Students learn foundational knowledge, computer and network security, security vulnerabilities, attack mechanisms, and intrusion detection and prevention, with the opportunity to earn CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ certifications.
