The Industrial Electrician Certificate is designed to enhance the Basic Electrician Certificate. This includes programmable logic controller (PLC) theory; motor and motor controls theory and power generation and delivery theory. Completion of this certificate prepares the student to be an entry-level industrial electrician, automation technician, or power company employee. The Basic Electrician Certificate courses are required pre-requisites for those in the Industrial Electrician Certificate.
