Toxicology

The primary mission of the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology (EMT) is to increase understanding of the mechanisms and consequences of chemical uses through quality education, research, outreach, and service. Graduate faculty lead diverse research programs collectively to understand the occurrence, fate, and effects of chemicals and agents on human health and the environment. The Toxicology Graduate Program offers an interdisciplinary course of study leading to the MS or Ph.D.
