Biology (BA)

Biology majors complete a two-course introductory core sequence and a semester of genetics, then build breadth and depth through upper-division courses in cellular and molecular biology, organism structure and function, and ecology and evolution. The Bachelor of Arts is the minimum preparation suitable for further professional study and is often combined with study in an allied field.
