Biochemistry

The major in Biochemistry leading to the Bachelor of Science degree consists of core courses covering the main content areas of chemistry (organic, analytical, physical and biochemistry) plus courses in biology, math, and physics. The flexible curriculum provides the opportunity to choose additional upper-level science courses as well as adding a minor. This major suits students who wish to work as a biochemist in the public or private sector or to enter professional or graduate programs.
