Child Development (Early Childhood Education)

Upon completion of the Early Childhood Education certificate, students will be able to provide a healthy and safe atmosphere for children, care for children in accordance with their developmental needs, utilize developmentally appropriate curriculum in a classroom environment, address diversity in the classroom environment in an appropriate manner, and define opportunities for children to develop fine and gross motor skills.
