Early Childhood Education

The Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education prepares students to work with young children. Upon completion of the AAS degree, students will be able to provide a healthy and safe atmosphere for children, care for children in accordance with their developmental needs, utilize developmentally appropriate curriculum in a classroom environment, address diversity in the classroom appropriately, and define opportunities for children to develop fine and gross motor skills.
