Corrections and Detention

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Corrections and Detention program is designed to prepare students who are interested in a career in the field of corrections, detention, or juvenile corrections, or to upgrade the skills of those officers currently working in these fields. Students will be presented with opportunities to develop skills to meet the challenges of working with different types of inmates or juveniles and the problems encountered with these individuals.
