Elementary Education

A major in elementary education prepares students for teaching at the elementary school level (K-8). Elementary education majors may also complete an education minor in K-12 reading or art, as well as in biology, English, history, mathematics, political science (government), health and human performance (physical education), or psychology. Candidates must be admitted to the teacher education program to pursue the elementary education degree.
