Regular students admitted to the Graduate School in pursuit of the Master of Science (MS) degree must have a research mentor and MS thesis research project already determined at the time of acceptance. In addition to ethics, statistics, presentation, and scientific writing core coursework, advanced coursework in the individual discipline is custom designed for each student. The normal time to complete the MS degree is two years.
