Global Languages and Cultural Studies

The Bachelor of Arts with a major in Global Languages and Cultural Studies is a 36-hour dual language degree that provides a foundation in languages other than English, as well as linguistic and cultural studies. Majors are strongly encouraged to study abroad for credit and can look forward to career opportunities in government, journalism, the Foreign Service and other public service fields or in any area where language proficiency, linguistic, and cultural studies will be an asset.
