Medical Laboratory Science

The Medical Laboratory Science major prepares students to be health care detectives investigating the cause of infectious disease, cancer or other health status of the patient. This major involves a minimum of six semesters of coursework at St. Edward’s University and, upon acceptance, one year of clinical training at an affiliated MLS program (currently Austin State Hospital or Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple).
