Addiction Specialist Training

Designed to provide the background knowledge necessary for students to develop the skills to help people with substance abuse problems, covering mood-altering chemicals, counseling theories, legal rights of clients, and treatment skills. The 300 clock hours of instruction may be applied toward fulfilling Pennsylvania Chemical Abuse Certification Board instructional requirements for state certification.
