Creative Writing and Publishing

Offered by the Department of English, Communications and Media, this major prepares future poets, playwrights, screenwriters, speechwriters, copywriters, educators, and publishers through the study of creative writing, literature and the publishing industry. Creative Writing and Publishing majors complete a minimum of 120 credits to earn a bachelor's degree, including 41-44 credits of core courses and 39 credits (13 courses) in their major.
